Appearing in a video at the Worlds of Marvel restaurant onboard Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Wish, Ant-Man said, “Before we start, let me address the elephant in the room. I’ve heard a lot of chatter out there asking why I didn’t shrink down, go in and kill Thanos in a really creative way.” “First of all, gross. Secondly, it’s much more complicated than that. Allow me to explain,” Lang continued, before being interrupted by Hope van Dyne, a.k.a. The Wasp (played by Evangeline Lilly). “If only we had the time,” she interjected. Avengers: Endgame co-writer Christopher Markus previously explained to Empire why the Thanos butt theory would not have worked. “Thanos could take a punch from the Hulk, we’ve seen that. And it stands to reason his whole body is at least as strong as that,” Markus said. “If Ant-Man expanded, he would be simply crushed against the immovable walls of Thanos’ mighty rectum.” In addition to Ant-Man and The Wasp, Marvel’s cinematic dining experience onboard the Disney Wish also includes appearances from Captain America (Anthony Mackie), Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) and Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani). The Worlds of Marvel restaurant allows diners to play a role in an Avengers mission while dining on a menu inspired by the MCU. Aside from a Marvel-themed restaurant and a Marvel Super Hero Academy for kids (ages 3-12), guests onboard the Wish can sip cocktails in a galaxy far, far away at the Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge and step into Arendelle at a Frozen dining experience.
