Yup, you read that right. The two award-winning actors are auctioning off the chance to hangout with them on Zoom, gossip about your favorite moments from the iconic movie, and maybe even score the behind-the-scenes scoop from the making of the film! According to the official listing, all of the proceeds generated from the auction’s bids will benefit the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Southern California, a nonprofit organization that works to defend the civil liberties of all people in the United States. The auction officially closes at 3:05 PM on Aug. 16 and it’s estimated to generate around $20,000 worth of financial support for the nonprofit. Ruffalo, now 54, announced the fundraiser to his fans on Twitter and wrote, in part: “Big news! I’m reuniting with my co-star #JenniferGarner for a special 13 Going on 30 auction. We’re raising money for @ACLU_SoCal’s vital work protecting our civil rights and liberties!” As a co-founder and Board member of The Solutions Project—a national organization with a mission to accelerate the transition to 100 percent clean energy and equitable access to healthy air, water, and soils by supporting climate justice organizations—Ruffalo is no stranger to supporting philanthropic causes. Neither is Garner, who has been a longtime member of the Save the Children’s Board of Trustees and co-founder of organic kid food brand, Once Upon a Farm. The 50-year-old actress also shared the news via an Instagram story and added: “I can’t wait!” To enter a bid or for more information on the auction, click here. More News:
