The 68-year-old posted photos on Instagram of the whole family placing ornaments on the tree with smiles on their faces, captioning the post, “So thankful to be well enough to decorate the Roker Family #christmastree.” In the photos are Roker and his wife, Deborah Roberts, 62, as well as their two kids, Leila, 24, and Nick, 20. The family and their dog posed in front of the bright and beautiful tree once it was all decorated. With an angel on top, a bunch of unique and colorful ornaments, and presents underneath, the tree looked well-loved and full of holiday spirit. Meteorologist Stephanie Abrams commented on the update, “Loving all those smiles!! ❤️❤️ @alroker @debrobertsabc @cleilapatra.” Sheinelle Jones of NBC News and Jenna Bush Hager of NBC’s TODAY show left red hearts in the comments. Roker’s wife Roberts, who is a journalist on ABC, commented on the post as well, writing, “So grateful to have family! ❤️🎄❤️🎄.” Many fans also commented how happy they were to see Roker smiling and the family all together. Roker has been dealing with blood clots for a while now, which led him to be hospitalized last month and miss his first Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in 27 years. He was able to go home soon after and be with his family, but not long after, he was rushed back to the hospital as his health issues worsened. After improvement at the hospital, he returned home on Dec. 8 and has been recovering with his family ever since. Luckily, he is on the mend and was able to enjoy some holiday cheer with his wife and kids today.
